This book teaches children about hygiene, emphasizing the importance of hand washing and when to do it. It's bilingual, in Hausa and English, helping children learn the Hausa language. Learning our native language is crucial for cultural identity, connecting younger generations to their heritage, traditions, and values, fostering a strong sense of belonging and pride.

The translation in English makes it a tool for teaching Hausa. I like the fact that each word was repeated in English and in a separate section.

This book is captivating. From the interactive cover that tells us what the book is about to having it written in two different languages - English & Hausa. This book is a 10/10 because it's a fun and interactive story.

"It's a very nice book. It talks about personal hygiene. It teaches children how and when to wash their hands And there is a pop quiz at the back to help them memorize what they have learnt. The book is also inviting at first sight, my younger sister just couldn't wait to read it."

I enjoyed reading the book. It's straight to the point teaching children why and how to wash their hands. The language is simple and I appreciate the fact that it's written in one of Nigeria's major languages. I think schools can have it in their libraries.
