I like this book because it’s about drawing, and it has some bright colours. What I learnt from this book is if you are having a bad day, you can always turn it around to a better day.

This book exposes the reader to a lot of vocabulary related to art and gives a rich insight into different Nigerian cultures. Although I think the ending was quite abrupt, it is indeed beautifully written.

Mrs Talabi's work, "Tobi at the Art Gallery", is one of the best level one books that I have read. It takes into consideration the age range of the target audience, but still manages to portray effectively, albeit subtly, the diverse culture of Nigeria, using fun and colourful illustrations that are sure to keep the young readers engaged and intrigued throughout their reading experience.
